PARKING

There is free onsite parking at the rear of the building.

CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT

Checkin is 2 pm and checkout is 10 am.

Late checkouts may be arranged until 1 pm depending on availability.

DINING AT THE ROX

Omotenashi, our in-house restaurant, is available for our guests to be booked exclusively for up to 10 guests for private celebrations.

Our VIP priority access to Institut Polaire is available for all Rox guests. To make a booking, please contact us directly.

SMOKING POLICY

There is a strict no smoking policy inside the apartments. An additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged for any breaches.

KIDS AT THE ROX

Children under 10 are not permitted in the Rox Apartments.  Families wanting to stay with young children are encouraged to view the adjacent property Roxburgh House which caters for young children.

GETTING HERE

From Hobart Airport, it is a 15 minute journey to the CBD where The Rox is located in trendy MidTown, at the corner of Elizabeth Street  (main street) and Brisbane Street. Taxis and Ubers are in plentiful supply at the Airport.   

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations are free up to 5 days prior to arrival. Any cancellations made less than 5 days. will be charged the first night’s accommodation.

PARTY POLICY/NOISE ISSUES

The Rox has a no party policy. Please ensure that all noise is kept to an acceptable level with regard to neighbouring apartments. If a formal noise complaint occurs, guests may be asked to leave.

PETS

Pets are not permitted in the Rox.

GROUP BOOKINGS

Groups of up to 16 are welcome to stay at The Rox. Each apartment accommodates 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with kingsized beds in each except The Rox Apartment which has one bedroom (king sized bed) and also a queen sofabed in the separate TV room. Subject to availability.  Please call to discuss rates and arrangements.
